What proof to ask for
Ask for proof that lets you approve with confidence: photos, files, receipts, or a handoff.
Proof is how you know the job is done, and it's what we look at if there's ever a dispute. Ask for it in your opportunity so the hunter knows what to send.
Good proof by job type
- Buying or finding an item: a photo of the item with the label or tag visible, plus the receipt.
- Checking a store or place: a photo showing the shelf, sign, or storefront, ideally with something that shows the date.
- Pickup and delivery: a photo at drop-off, or confirm the handoff in person.
- Online work: the file, link, or output itself.
Tips
- Be specific. "A photo of the box showing the size label" is better than "a photo".
- Don't ask for anything that would put the hunter or other people at risk, or that records people without their consent.
