Do hunters get background checks?
Not today. Every in-person hunter verifies a government ID instead, and ratings and reports do the rest.
We don't run background checks right now. To keep things simple and safe, every hunter who takes an in-person opportunity has verified a government ID and a live selfie, and is 18 or older.
- Ratings from past opportunities show on every profile.
- Anyone can report or block someone, and safety reports reach our team right away.
- In-person jobs have a safety toolkit: share your status with a friend, or call 911 from the opportunity.
If we add background checks for certain jobs later, they'll be run by a specialist partner with its own consent process, and we'll tell you first.
